Even though we can target smartphones virtually everywhere there are some locations that we cannot target. Not because we can’t, rather because it’s the law. Certain locations are restricted and do not permit us to reach smartphones in that area. This is either done through technology where our technology is targeted by them and purposely blocked. Or in some government or high secure installations like labs (Livermore, CA) you can’t take your phone with you, it must be left in a secure part of the facility. When it comes to computers and laptops there is software that is widely used that offers ad blocking capabilities. The number of people who have used this technology on computers and laptops has grown over the years. Uses might be able to use this on mobile phones as well, there will be some apps that will not work correctly.

The thing is, the owners of these apps are allowing you to down load the apps for free and the price for that is that ads will come across the apps. You can pay the owner of the app a fee that will block the ads from appearing however that hasn’t really caught on yet. We live in a world that is changing so fast and just as we get used to something, the next day it changes. We all want privacy and we all want freedom, the two sometimes don’t go together.
